Exams

We are scheduled for a Midterm Exam before long (see Lecture Schedule). The exam will be open book and open notes.

I've attached couple of example exams from previous years: Midterm Winter Quarter 1998 and Midterm Fall Semester 1999. Please keep in mind that the material covered in these quarters/ semesters may have differed substantially from what we are covering this semester. I suggest that you use the exams more to get an idea of format and relative difficulty, rather than specific content.
